Maddie’s Featured in Denver Life Magazine
Maddie’s was recently featured in Denver Life Magazine in an article by Lori Midson highlighting our new location and owner Gayor’s steps to success.
“From preproduction to production, a restaurant is like a rock show. You’re always on stage, and if you do your best, it’s all good,” insists Geller, who recently chatted with us about Maddie’s migration from a minuscule café to a monumental labor of love.

Maddie’s Featured in Westword: First Look
This month, Maddie’s was featured Westword’s for a first look at our new location, with a great breakdown from writer Mark Antonation!
While the official opening of the new Maddie’s at 2423 South Downing Street is still a few days away, owner Gayor Geller hosted a couple of practice runs over the weekend, giving neighbors a sneak peek at the interior of the 1950s gas station he converted into a fun, diner-style space. Retro elements like pop art, vintage garage memorabilia and gleaming gray-and-red tiles give a more polished feel while still maintaining Maddie’s neighborhood charm.
Maddie’s Featured on Cook Street Culinary’s Alums
Maddie’s owner Gayor Geller featured on Cook Street Culinary Program’s Alumni Spotlight!
With a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, two Masters degrees in International Management and Real Estate Construction Management and a Jurus Doctorate, Gayor’s foray into the food and beverage universe might strike some as out of place. But his entrepreneurial spirit and endless pursuit of knowledge is what landed him at Cook Street.

DU Clarion News Features Maddies
Thanks to Camilla Sterne for her write-up of Maddie’s in Clarion: the University of Denver’s Magazine (even though we swear we’re not all hipsters) :
Overeating, too, is inevitable, if one happens to glance under the ‘Maddie’s Sweet Tweets Creations’ heading on the menu. Cinnamon sticky buns, gourmet cake pops and chocolate chip cookies may tempt even the most health-conscious hipster. Give in to the cravings and take another lap around Wash Park on that fixie of yours. Or just drink another bellini and call it good—peach puree has vital nutrients, right?
